Very helpful video. I’m studying your ICND 1 Foundation Learning Guide and these videos are very helpful for showing me what I’m learning. Thanks!
Thank you so much for the feedback – I am so thrilled that you are enjoying the materials – please let me know the second you have any question – post here in the blog and I will answer your question quickly.
In addition to your Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices, Part 1 (ICND1) Foundation Learning guide I also bought the Cisco CCENT ICND1 100-101 Network Simulator from Cisco Press. I was wondering when I should dive into the simulator? Should I finish studying your book and then use the simulator or start playing around with it while studying your book? What other materials would you recommend I get in addition to these resources. I’m going for my CCENT Cert.
Hello again Jonathan!
I would use the simulator as I go through the book. For example, if the book has just covered the initial configuration of a switch – then use the simulator parts that coincide with that. If the book does OSPF – then get in the simulator for that practice.
Another resource I would highly recommend is the following course that I completed with Keith Barker.
